Women’s Health Goulburn North East is part of an ecosystem of Women’s Health Services that has been working in Victoria since 1988. We focus our services in the areas of health promotion of women’s health and wellbeing, to respond to the social determinants that intersect with gender and lead to poor health outcomes for women.

The 2021-22 Victorian Budget submission sets out clear priorities for investment that would get women and gender-diverse people’s lives, and gender equity, back on track; recommendations that would be of direct benefit to the Goulburn and Ovens-Murray regions.

This submission was created as part of a broader piece of advocacy developed by members of Gender Equity Victoria and the Victorian Women’s Health Services. This submission should be read in conjunction with those state-wide visions for Victorian women.
