Aboriginal Family Violence Prevention
'No Shame' This Way forward, Culturally Sensitive Family Violence Primary Prevention Facilitators Support Guide 2017, is to assist Aboriginal people to start a conversation with an Aboriginal person or with a group of Aboriginal people who may be experiencing Family Violence, or it may be used to assist with the prevention of family violence occurring within Aboriginal families and communities in the north east of Victoria.
It is accompanied by a full literature review and video which should all be used together to form one resource.
This work is a result of a Project Advisory Group seeking to develop a resource for the Hume region of Victoria.
The Project Advisory Group insists that all work incorporating this guide and video only be facilitated by Aboriginal persons.
