Board of Management

WHGNE is governed by a Board of Management (BOM), elected by our membership at each Annual General Meeting. The Board comprises women from different backgrounds and communities.

Expressions of interest are usually sought for membership of the Women's Health Goulburn North East Board before the Annual General Meeting.

WHGNE is committed to improving the health of women across our region. We view health and wellbeing within a social framework. We understand that the health of women and their families is impacted by their gender and rural location along with social and economic factors.

Volunteering for the Board of Management provides women with a fantastic opportunity to contribute to their local women's health service. The BOM seeks women with a broad range of life experiences to contribute to the governance of this dynamic and innovative organisation.

Previous BOM experience is not essential. WHGNE offers training and mentoring to new BOM members.
